hey guys....I have a sands and hunter 10x12" plate camera which has a lens board with a lens thread of 750m diameter.. I was given a compur shuttered lens with a thread of 500mm diameter. Anyone know any links (or does anyone have for sale) an adapter? I guess it would basically be a ring with an outer dimater of 750mm (threaded out) and an inner diameter of 500 mm (threaded in). Hope you get the idea...Any leads would be greatly appreciated...Thanks guys (and gals?)

Why not get another lens board made and mount the lens on it?

Yes i thought of that, just thought it would be an easier option. I will look into it. I would still need the 500 mm ring to be mounted though wouldn't I?

As Dave mentioned, get another lens board. There is a thread started some days before

An adapter ring can be made at any metal shop for some bucks. Take the lens with you because not only the diameter must fit but also the thread.

750mm and 500mm???
Are you sure there isn't a '0' too many there? 750mm is almost 30 inches, much larger than the film format!
