Arca M-Line Format Frame on F-Line Function Carrier

Can an Arca M-Line format frame be physically mounted to an F-Line function carrier? I understand that I would sacrifice rise/fall on that frame, but am wondering if they would physically fit.

Hi,
sure you can :) ....... with the Monolith (non M) you have a micrometric rise/fall on the frame. With the M- Monolith, no rise/ fall (if you have the frame it's ok, otherwise buy an F frame).

The first series of M-line 8x10 format frames will not fit the F-line carrier. The dovetail slide is too wide. There is one on ebay now. It can be modified to fit by SK Grimes.

Hi Pete,
are you sure for the auction Monolith ? My late 1980's Monolith (4x5") fit a 8x10" F-standard without problems.
