Galvanized steel plate photo frames?

Hey all....a week or so ago I was reading one of Terry Hope's books (the one on Nudes, I believe) and noticed that one of the prints by Marcus Doyle (UK photog) was presented in a very unique galvanized steel plate frame (similar to the stuff used for air conditioning ducts, etc). He explains that these mounts are made by his friend Jeff Kogan. I've written to ask him if instructions are available for making these frames but have not yet heard anything back.

Do any of you have any experience in making frames out of such a material or do you know where I can find instructions on making them? I REALLY love the look.
