Happy New Year! I really enjoy participating in this forum with a bunch of retro-photo-chemically dependent big antique carrying photographers. :D

It's that time again, yes...
A couple of weeks ago I was 45, next year I'll be 48.
Has time speeded up, or what?
Happy New year anyway. :)

I wish (you all) all of you the best for 2008. As been said already this is a wonderful forum and community to take part in (be part of). (sorry, it's 5 o'clock in the morning and I do not seem to get the grammar right) Patrik

Thanks Merg,
Have a great '08 and a Happy New Year to all!
May the price of silver plummet and fluffy clouds freely frolic above our landscapes :D
An hour or so into the New Year (Pacific Standard Time). The best to everyone for 2008!
I made some new photos at the end of the year, I'll develop them in the New Year. Plus I hope to take some more photos today under the Redwoods...maybe see some salmon and steelead heading up the creek. Starting out all right...

We got 8 inches of new snow last night and this morning I hiked out my front door and promptly fell on my bum on the slick pavement where the county snow plow had created wet ice. I fell twice more on my way out of the subdivision, tumbled into a barbed-wire fence when I tripped on some vines buried under the snow, upended my film bag into the snow, spent so long on one exposure that my 8x10 Wehman was practically a snow drift of its own, and froze various and sundry appendages waiting for the wind to die down enough for a 1/2 second exposure. There was so much snow in my gear and bags that when I got back home, the easiest way to clean it out was with a shop vac.
Darn, it's going to be a great year! Many happy returns to everyone!

Merg, thanks. A happy and health new year to you and your family.
Best new year's wishes to all on the forum too. I'm sitting here in a winter wonderland. The snow is falling and the trees are heavy with snow. I dug a path to the barn and studio but I'm staying in the house for the moment.

Happy New Year to all of you. I enjoy this forum a lot and the people in it. We got gipped last night in that we were supposed to get 10" but got only a dusting. Reverse lake effect is what they call it here....we always get gipped. :) :)
