Err.... Histogram

Trying to leave my Dslr at home when I go off shooting 4x5 but I really do like using a digital as a proofing and light metering tool.

So which little toy P&S digital gives you a BIG histogram that fills its 2.5 to 3 inch LCD at the lowest possible price?

IE a lower end $200 Canon/Nikon/Panasonic/etc. rather than a $500 G9...

Image quality doesn't really matter - all I care about is knowing the aperture, shutter speed, and seeing a nice big histogram...

You may be asking for too much, at least in Canon line. Two that I have (A700 and S3, the latter would not even apply here anyways) have a histogram that's only a fraction of the screen. Checking on the G9 it appears it's no different either, although I don't have one and this comes from screen shots I've seen on the web (essentially same set-up as on what I have).

I have a Sony V1 which is a pretty old camera. The histogram which is "live" occupies about 1/4 panel over the picture. My guess that one of the newer Pansonics might fit your requirement.
