One think I hated about original Velvia 50 is the reciprocity failure at slow shutter speeds. Has the new Velvia 50 fixed this?

It's possible to download the latest technical data guide from the Fujifilm website in pdf format so that might give you the modern characteristics so you can compare...

Dan,

I found this PDF at the Fuji site. It does not have a date, but I assume it is for the new V-50.

Velvia 50 Spec Sheet (http://www.fujifilmusa.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/proPhotoProductVelviaDataSpec.jsp)

The reciprocity data is on the second page.

People really wanted the old velvia back and it looks like that's what they got, including the 1 stop exposure increase at 30 second exposures.

I'll pass.

I will still take it. I just like the colors of the old Velvia. I have tried 100F, 100, Provia and Astia and still like 50 the best. I will put up with the reciprocity to get the colors I like.
