I haven't been able to find much information on this camera. Any comments good or bad would be appreciated. There seems to be several versions about, This forum seems to have a wealth of experience and knowledge.

I had a similar question a few months back, and here (http://www.apug.org/forums/forum44/37093-zone-vi-8x10-woodfield.html) are some responses. Hope it helps.

I owned one for a while. It might help if you asked specific questions.

I've owned mine for 2-3 years now. I recently had Richard Ritter make me a 5x7 reducing back. I guess it is a little heavy, but my other 8x10 is a Wisner and they are comparable in weight. I have yet to encounter a situation where this camera couldn't get the photo, but I am sure there must be some architectural challenges that would really stress this camera.

I'm currently awaiting Richard Ritter's new lightweight 4x5 - 8x10 camera (due in about 12 weeks). It utilizes the same carbon fiber technology as Richard's ULF cameras. My Ritter 7x17 ULF is definitely lighter than the Zone VI 8x10.

Would I buy a Zone VI 8x10 again? Yes, definitely. Will I be glad to replace it with Richard's new camera? Ask me again in six months or so.
