What is the difference in these two films? Is Fuji Velvia 100F more highly saturated? If I am going to be shooting some portraits would 100 be better?

I personally wouldnt shoot portraits with either- Id opt for Provia with a warming filter or Astia. But given the choice, 100 will provide a much better image in my opinion. 100F is not a great film-too unnaturally saturated for my taste.

I always shot artwork with provia, velvia is to saturated in any flavor for doing artwork or portraits in my opinion.

Of the two, 100 is more saturated and 100F would be better for portriats. However, as mentioned above, better alternatives exist for portraits.

Great thanks. I think instead of taking one of those I'll take four varieties and hope I like one of the four. Thanks for your input.
