I have this lens board with a lens threaded into it , Before I go turning this lens board into a retaining ring would like to know if the lens board could be used by some for their camera? its 3-1/4 inches by 3-1/4 inches and very close to being 1/4 inches thick the dia: of the hole is about 2-1/8 inches: It looks like an expensive board to be destroying ?\\Lauren
