Hi all, Thinking of selling my 240 symmar s 5.6 it is the multi coated version serial # is 4079562 for those who can age them by serial #.
The lens is in good condition except for dent on filter thread and preview lever slightly bent .
This lens is just too big & heavy for backpacking & i wish too now purchase a 240f9
fujinon to replace it.
Can anyone suggest what i should ask for it.cheers Gary

If the filter ring dent is minor enough that you can still attach a filter, then I would say $400 is a fair price, judging by the prices for comparible lenses at KEH Camera Brokers.
