Hi, Can anybody point me toward a reputable Fine Art Printing firm in the US. I'm looking for someone who can provide Large High Quality Art Prints, from 4x5 color transparencies. Any info would be much appreciated. TA

I highly recommend West Coast Imaging in Oakhurst, California. Calypso Imaging in Santa Cruz is excellent as well. They both do digital printing with Lightjet/Chromira and Epson Ultrachrome processes, so if you want a Cibachrome or other non-digital print you will need to find somewhere else.

If you are looking for digital printing with many possibilities consider Bill Nordstrom at Laser Light Photographics:

I just saw your posting...I am a fine art photographer and large format printer, including cibachrome. I have been printing cibachrome for a few years and use extensive masking techniques. Up until now I have only done it for myself but recently built a new expanded darkroom and am considering printing others work as well as my own. If you're still looking, contact me. I'm sure you have questions, and I'm happy to engage in a conversation with you. I'm NOT a production printer, fine art only, handmade prints of exceptional quality. I'm detail oriented, and would be happy to provide samples of my work. Mike

Hi Mike,

Michigan native here, now living in Utah. Can you print ciba's digitally? I use PS on all my images, hardly ever print directly from the slides.

Here are two Los Angeles based options for optical enlargement to Ilfochrome Classic products (aka: Cibachrome).

I would 2nd lab-ciba and Weldon, 2 of the best in the country for ciba prints.
