If you can get BBC4 then this looks worth watching:

Thanks for the link :)

I may have to watch it on Monday as I believe I will be out on Thursday night.

What about the USA? Will it be shown here. Do they make books or tapes of their programs?

Don't know for sure but I do know that a lot BBC programs do go to the US. Often a mixture from the 4 BBC channels gets shown on BBC World which you do get. You'll just have to check the listings.

I checked the website and the material and text is so well presented. I wonder whether the BBC generally makes books and DVD's on their special productions like this?

I'd have thought that someone will make a Torrent of it so you could get hold of it that way if you're outside the UK.

I watched the first one, it was conveniently repeated just as I got back from the pub! Really enjoyed it (great to see some of those early huge LF cameras, funny that after over 150 years we're still using camera that are more or less the same).

I though it didn't really go into enough detail about how the process developed (that'll be a unintentional pun there!), more about the people behind it. Still, great programme, looking forward to the next one.

Thoroughly enjoyed "Fixing the Shadows" and looking forward to the rest of the series. The crime scene images were remarkable.

As a Brit living in the US - I can say it is highly unlikely that they will show that program here. We get BBC America - which with the exception of the new (and brilliant) nighly news show, consists mainly of Dr Who and endless re-runs of Cash in the Attic.

A bit-torrent file is likely the only way we will get to see it :-(
