Hi, Just purchased a 19 Goerz Artar in a #4 acme shutter for my 8x10. I am trying to mount the lens. I have a board with a 65mm hole. Although the lens and threads go thought the hole it leaves only two threads showing not enough for a good mou nt. The retaining ring has a raised ridge on one side and about a 4mm threaded r ise on the other. It appears that the hole would need to be enlarged to about 70 mm for the ridge to sit into. Anyone who has mounted an older ilex shutter who k nows the proper size hole I would appreciate the info. I don't want to screw up a good board they are no longer made for my camera.(old Cambo with the 8.5" boar ds) Thanks Bill

I show a hole size of 2.604" or 66.14mm for an Ilex #4 shutter.

Thank you, S.K. Grimes web site is great. He gave me the exact info I was looking for. I was trying to use the mounting glange like a retaniner and it doesn't work that way. It must be permanetly mounted to the front of the board and the lens then screws into it. Thanks again Bill
