Hello,
I just purchased a used wista SP 4x5 and have a question to anyone who has one.
When everything is locked down, i can still grab the back and move it up and down a few mm, and grab the top of the back, and pull it backward about a 1/4 inch. Everything returns to neutral position after you release it, but it does move to begin with. By design the Back has the micro swing adjust, so i understand that it's not rigidly attached to the camera, but i wonder if the springs have become loose over time. When the grab the top of the back and pull it backward, i think the microswing knobs loosen and let the back move about 1/4 inch backward.
Is this normal or bad??
Also is there a way to lock down the microswing knobs?
Thanks
