5x7 film holders

Hello Group,
Can you tell me if you can usually use 5x7 film holders in a camera that takes 13x18? I have a line on a Plaubel 13x18 but would like to use my 5x7 hilders. Is this possible? Since finding 13x18 film in the US seems impossible.

Modern 13x18 holders are the same outside shape/size of modern 5x7 holders. Don't ask me at what point modern happened.
