Hi!

I have an Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar T 150mm/f.4.5 with serialnumber 3406218 in a Press-Compur shutter (T, B, 1-1/250,nr A493772). Does anyone know how old the lens is? Is it non-coated or single-coated?

Regards,

1948 to 1950, according to Thiele. There's considerable uverlap in the Zeiiss Jena serial numbers.

It should be single-coated.

Thanks for posting the list Jason. That confirms what I thought about my Tessar being a 1935 version. It was my oldest usable lens, until a couple days ago when I modified a Linhof board to take my Holmes, Booth & Haydens . . . probably going to do a few shots with that soon.

Ciao!
