Using flash with large format

Hi;
as a newcomer to large format I am unsure of how flash operates with my compur 3 shutter. It fires the flash fine but am I right in thinking that I can use any of the available shutter speeds because being a leaf shutter it always open completely and the flash duration is probably less than 1/10000 sec?
This is what seems to be implied by one other forum I have looked at. Any comments would be much appreciated.

Yes, you can use any speed on a leaf shutter with flash. The most powerful studio strobes can get to be longer than 1/1000 sec., but with a Compur 3 shutter, this isn't going to be an issue.
