In cutting down a box of 12x20 Portra colour film into 10x12 and 7x17, instead of throwing out the waste cuts, I managed to make 5 sheets of 5x12 size. This I properly notched in the usual place. Free (+ actual shipping) to whoever asks first (e-mail or PM). It would help if you sent me a nested light-tight box first as I don't have any in that size.
This is $50 worth of film!

This is worse than the Krypton Factor!

I can't figure out the maths: how do you cut down 20x12 into 10x12 and 7x17 and have 5x12 film left over???

(It's okay - I don't need this).

Richard -

I think you should've posed a riddle: "how do I cut down 20x12" film to get 10x12" and 7x17" and have 5x20" left over?"

Winner bags it :)

OK here's a hint: Each of five 12x20 sheets yielded the wanted 7x17, the useful 5x12 , AND a 5x7 after a 1x5 waste piece was cut away from a 5x8. The remaining 3x7 piece awaits the revival of that format  Five 12 x20 sheets were cut in half to give me 10 sheets of 10x12. The 15 sheets of colour film I've produced will be used in a one-off desert portfolio as I normally don't shoot colour....

You should use it and have someone process it in the Jobo for you. It'd be well worth seeing a few color shots...
