Need some advice. I had a senior moment and bought an unused 00-sized shutter:confused: . The lense board I can craft out of aircraft alloy with my drill press -- but where in heavens will I find a lens to fit this "00" shutter. I know it will be used, but what's my best damage control if I intend to mount on a 4x5.

thanks, mal

I have two 30mm boards (is that size 00??) that I don't have much use for.

That was James Bond's favourite shutter.

Early Schneider 90mm f:9 Super Angulon - if you find one on DB board, you can get a gerat lens for a ridiculously low price.

Mine is on a 00 shutter, but fortunately it's still working fine. :)

Maybe some 65mm f:8 Super angulons too? I don't have one, so I don't know.

Yes my 65/8 Super-Angulon is in a Compur 00 shutter.

Mal, how much did you pay?
I have a 65mm lens that fits in a size 00 shutter. It's in a shutter from a folder right now but I was looking for a nicer one.

Thanks for the info folks, I'll track down either a 90 or 65 to fit this shutter. I'll cut a lens board from .4.5mm alumimum stock and add this to my field pack.
Thanks again.
