I recently purchased a beautiful 250mm Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar lens in barrel. The lens came mounted on a Sinar board. I then bought a Sinar shutter to go with it.

As you can see above, screws hold the retaining ring to the board. This may have worked nicely on a copy camera (or whatever they used this lens for), but those screws prevent the shutter from working, because the metal pin on the front of the shutter, needs to move as the shutter is fired - and those screws block its movement. 1) As shown above, the shutter is mounted to the rear of the front standard... Is that the correct orientation ?
2) How to mount the lens on a Sinar board, so that nothing interferes with the operation of the shutter ? Is there someone who does this ?
Many thanks for your help !!
