Problem slide

I can't figure out what went wrong with this slide. It's a Quickload. Can anyone offer any tips? Can it be photoshopped out?

It looks like flare to me - either via a reflection hitting the lens or an internal reflection in the camera.

To "fix" the scan, you might try using the sponge tool with a soft-edged brush to increase the saturation in the affected area.

I do remember having to tug at the envelope before taking one picture (it had gotten stuck in the holder, somehow).
