There are some 4x10 plastic sheet holders listed on that auction site from a Chinese seller (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=002&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=120122335909&rd=1&rd=1) but of Hong Kong manufacture. At about $85 apiece with shipping they could be a good deal if not a steal, that is if the quality and function are decent. Does anyone have any background info on or experience with these sheet holders?

since there are at least two different sizes of 4x10 holders in is necessary to make that determination.

John,

I have purchased several of these holders. I have not used them yet as I am still in camera construction phase but only after careful examination can you tell they are not identical to the Canham holder I bought. I got 2 ea for $90 at auction. There must be someone making them over there. The single Canham holder I bought cost $120 plus shipping. Kieth was having trouble getting parts for construction. They conform to the 8x10 dimensions except they are 4X10. (Not the Weisner standard for X-ray holders). So far so good, now I have use them to see if they leak. My guess is that they will be fine. It would be nice to have someone still making film holders.
