I received numerous responses to the above item & I thank each and everyone of y ou for your comments, suggestions & observations. What I have found so far on my trip to Denver yesterday may be of value to others. The lupe in a pro shop whi ch took my fancy was a Rodenstock Aspheric 6x--obviously a pricey piece of glass you would expect from Rodenstock--the clarity, sharpness and the viewing area w as greater than what I have been using, & I just may purchase it if I do not fin d anything better.
