does anyone know what size retaining ring a Rodagon 150mm 5.6 takes?

It looks like about 43mm with my ruler.

thanks

Mike,

If you plough through the Linos / Rodenstock website, it'll probably tell you as there's a few similiar diameters and thread pitches in that area and you'd hate to cross-thread your lens...

Hi Mike,

My Rodagon 150/5.6 retaining ring appears to be a

50mm with a 1mm thread spacing. I'm not sure if different

Rodagon 150's had different size mounts. The serial number

on mine is 10297124 if that's any help.

Cheers, Derek.

The Rodagon 150 has a 50 x 0.75 mounting thread if it is a lens designed to be sold as an enlarger lens and not a lens salvaged from another application.

That ring is catalog number 453033. If you would prefer a lens flange it is catalog number 1030 1003 008 103.

We do have the 453033 ring in stock and you can order it from any of our HP Marketing Corp. dealers. It has a list price of $15.50.

The serial number 10297124 is from 1980.

I got one from Calumet Photographic a couple of weeks ago (retainer ring for Rodagon 150). I think it was 50mm and cost about $ 10.00.

My 8 page Rodenstock brochure lists all 150mm ELs with 50mmx0.75mm ring. The series include Rogonar-S (4 element), Rodagon (6 element) and Rodagon G (6 element). I measured my Rodagon 150 just to be sure. Lens barrel thread diameter is 1.964"=49.9mm. Thread pitch is 0.75mm measured over 7 thread grooves.
