Sekonic Pinpoint Attachment L-718PP

I have a Sekonic 718 meter and was wondering if anyone here has tried this meter with the optional Pinpoint attachment. This pinpoint attachment is supposed to work with large format metering by placing it directly on the ground glass.

As an addendum to Boyd's query I wonder how accurate these attachments are? Aft er all, they are placed externally on the ground glass and doesn't the brightnes s of the ground glass screen affect the readings?
