I have decided to go into polaroid photo with my Tachihara, so I ordered a 545i a couple of days ago. It arrived today with a packet of Polacolor 59. Expiratio n date june 00. Isn4t that a little short dated? Perhaps any of you more experie nced guys, can tell me what expiration time is usual? Lars

Lars, My experience with Polaroid is that it is much more short dated than regular film. Even so, if you keep it cool in the fridge (not freezer) - it should be okay for quite awhile the 'expiry' date. BTW, Polaroid recommend storing it flat, not on its side. I think it's so the developing chemicals don't migrate to one end of the film. Good luck!

I concur with Yaakov: Polaroid is very sensitive to storage temperature, and doesn't keep well.

If your supplier had refrigerated the film, and you keep it refrigerated it, it'll be OK for a while. Better you should call your supplier and complain. He may send you replacement at no charge.
