Stock images and prints

Hi all,

Just wanted some thoughts- I'm submitting stuff to a couple of stock libs, and at the moment it's all digital.

I have quite a few nice large format images that I'd like to offer as limited edition prints at some point in the future, but I think a lot of them may make good stock images as well. Do you think there is an issue with submitting images you intend to offer as limited edition prints as stock to a stock library?

Depends on the agreements that the stock agencies require, I have worked with agencies that will not allow you to sell images if they are handling them and I have worked with those who don't care, your best bet is find out what the particular agencies requirements or agreements states, there vary between agencies.

Make sure that the stock agency is not allowed to license the images for making prints so that there is no conflict with your limited editions.
