Suggest that you do your homework rather than asking us to take your test for you.

6. Are brown stains on a dried print caused by a short rinse time?

It's called "toning", quite popular with B&W folks and enhances archival durability, particularly if selenium is used; Pt/Pd is another favorite choice.

Beechblondie -- Welcome to Large Format Photography Forums. We're usually a decent bunch of people. If the attempts of a few to be clever have confused you, Louie Powell gave you honest answers. To elaborate a little:
2. Decrease lens opening size, which means using a higher f/number. This confused me long long ago.
3. Paper long out-of-date can show this. Usually it is overall exposure to white light.
