I have a Technika lensboard that has a 5/16 inch opening. What copal size would this be? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Hi Randy,

If that is the opening in the lensboard it sounds like that is a Pilot hole. The lensboard needs to be drilled out to take a #0, #1, or a #3 shutter size.

OK. So that is the way the Technika lensboards come?

Hi Randy,

Frequently the lensboard included with a new Linhof Camera comes that way. They are also available new that way if someone wants them for special sizing, as well as "factory fresh" in standard #0, #1, and #3 shutter sizes. They can be purchased used or new on eBay as an example. Linhof Technika IV/V/M/2000/3000/TK type boards can also be purchased new or used in the proper size made by Toyo, Wista, Ebony, Nikon, generic....

New and used boards can be purchased from KEH, Midwest Photo, B&H Photo to name a few.
