Just ran across this lens and was wondering if it's a decent preformer. It's f/3.5 so I am betting it would make good potraits? Anybody have this and would like to share?

Same design as a 135/3.5 Zeiss Planar or a 135/3.5 Schenider Xenotar, but a bit longer. Performance is, at least with the samples I have used, a bit worse than either the Planar or the Xenotar, but at f3.5 who cares? Stopped down to f8 and beyond it is just fine. These seem a bit uncommon, but usually sell for about $350 on eBay. Its overweight sibling, the 152/2.8 Komura is also a nice lens.

Thanks jason. I'd love to see some pics made with this lens if you have them handy.

Sorry, I don't have access to those images right now, so I can't easily scan them. What specifically are you looking for?
