Well, hopefully this price was a good deal. Apparently it was purchased 8 years ago, and has never been used:

Mine for $850.00

Looks like the new price on Badger is $1599.00

Thoughts?

Ben,
Looking very close, I see all kinds of imperfections with the lens. I suggest that you ship it to me at once so that you can continue to look for a good one.

It's really nice, so much brighter than the f/6.8 and all the movements you could ever use... you can just raise and raise and raise...

I have one too. It is a very nice lens. You will love the f/4.5 max opening compared to f/6.8 or f/8.

I figured it would be a good purchase considering I've been wanting to get into architecture to complement the landscape work I do. Old, abandoned buildings are what I'm after!

Did you get this lens yet? How do you like it? I've got the f/6.8 grandagon and it's very nice.

I should be receiving it Tuesday or Wednesday!

It'll be going out to SK grimes right after I inspect it for mounting to my Linhof board and for a new set of the SK grimes lenscaps.

It mounts quite easily on a Copal 1 lensboard... all you need is a spanner or a $10 lens tool... (just in case you want to test it before sending it to Grimes for $$$ caps).
