Slightly confused because I've been told two different things. When using polaroid instant film, do I have to use a polaroid back (I've got the polaroid 545) or can I use a different film back with instant film?? Seems like it would make sense because the polaroid back can be used with instant/non-instant films...

Still learning

You must use a Polaroid back with the individual packet shet film; the 545x series backs are highly recommended although the older 500 series backs will work ... sort of/sometimes. With the pack film you can use either the Polaroid back or the similar back made by Fuji. You cannot use either the Fuji Quickload or Readyload back with Polaroid film.

"... With the pack film you can use either the Polaroid back or the similar back made by Fuji..."
Does this imply that the 545 back will work with pack films?

Dirk is corret. Both Polaroid and Fuji make a pack film back. Sorry for any confusion.

Didn't think so. Thanks for clearing that up.
