Does anyone know if this lens will cover 8x10?

Andy, the Wollensak catalog (http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/wollensakcatg/p11.html) says it was intended for 3.25x4.25. No doubt 8x10 would be a bit of a stretch.

don't think so according to
http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/wollensakcata/verito.html

In addition, it's short focal length says probably not

3in a row!

hi andrew

with both cells on it might cover a 4x5 negative,
but if you remove the front cell ( they are convertible lenses )
it will be 14" focal length. that might cover a 8x10, but i don't know
for sure ..

seth over at camera eccentric has a bunch of catalogs,
this one: http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/wollensakcata/verito.html
has a table with focal lengths and coverages ...

have fun!

So, it won't even cover 4x5?

Andrew,

Maybe, depending on the effect you want. Kerik posted a pic with the beautiful "swirly" edge effects shot with a Verito that was technically too small for the format (14x17 I believe, and somewhere around an 18" Verito ?).

If you're talking about covering the way Wollensak intended it to, no.
