The tango of light and shadow, the lucidity of poetry
The poignancy of opera, the celebration of life
The ironies of freedom, the will to succeed
Spontaneity that surpasses the timelessness of painting
Sensibilities honed by a peripatetic lifestyle
A right mixture of compassion and compassion fatigue
An inner voice projected, a slice of life presented
The unseen made visible, the mundane transformed
Vision is reciprocal, I merely reciprocate…

Dear Friends,

I am a Bombay based photojournalist who specializes in covering people, cultures, and travel. My love affair with images and words spans a decade. I am currently working on my seventh book/ photo essay that explores the symbiosis between the rivers of India and communities that live along it.

I would be obliged if you could see my images and comment on them at

Greetings to Mumbai from someone who enjoys traveling to India a couple times a year.

Your images remind me of some of the things I love about India. Good work!

Lovely images, I`d love to go to India myself.
It seems all your photography is 35mm, are you planning to look into large format photography, since you`re posting here?

What photography? I only saw flashing advertising banners that I didn't want to see.

See that is the problem---you have to see beyond seeing. LOL

Well the advertsing banners pay for the site and makes good business sense---search for the links. May the god of light Photon lead you into the site
