I have noticed Sinar/Sinaron DB lenses (on eBay) mounted on a Sinar lensboard, which seems to obscure seeing the shutter. Assuming the Sinar shutter inside is a proprietary gizmo, can these lenses be taken off the Sinar board and fitted with a Copal shutter, and used on whatever camera you'd like?

Thanks...

There is no shutter. The Sinar shutter sits behind the lensboard and is mounted on the camera. Yes, if you have the right size shutter with the corrrect aperture scale, you can just screw the lens cells into the shutter.
