How can I date my camera ?

I know that the model was made between 1921 and 1950.

Kodak donated its patent museum to the George Eastman House some years back. So the information is there, if anywhere. Try contacting their equipment curator; I believe his name is Todd Gustavsson.

First, ask her what her name is. Then, invite her out to dinner.

If she says "yes", you're on your way to a potentially fine date. If she says "no", see if she's open to a future invitation.

You mean she accepted? ;)

There was a thread not so long ago about dating Kodak cameras – yes and the same old jokes came out then too – which was resolved by someone (wonderful guy) who has compiled a database of serial numbers. I hope he's watching this thread...

so is there a serial number on it? Looking from the rear, push the rear standard forward so you can see the top of the carrier that the rear standard swivels on. You should see a six digit number stamped into the wood in about 1/4 inch higher numbers. What is it?

I should have added, on the right looking from the rear.
