Three Decades of Photographs
by John Sexton
for adults

description: Join internationally renowned photographer and author John Sexton as he shares images and insights from his 30-year photographic career. Known for finely crafted large-format black and white photographs, Sexton's preferred subject is the quiet message of the natural environment. This presentation includes never-before-seen images from John's new book, Recollections: Three Decades of Photographs. Go “on location” with Sexton as he shares lively anecdotes drawn from his working relationship with Ansel Adams, and shows how their images progressed from negative to final print.

Following the lecture, Sexton will sign copies of his books.

location: Whitsell Auditorium
fee: Photography Council Members: $15; all others $25. Tickets are required and are available at the Museum box offices or by calling 503-226-0973. Lecture tickets do not include Museum admission. Seating is limited. Ticketholders are asked to be seated ten minutes prior to lecture or seat may be re-ticketed. Admission to The Quest for Immortality is not included and requires an additional timed-entry ticket.

Wish I could be there. He's an entertaining speaker so it should be well worth the price of admission.

Is there anything on-line about this? I've been waiting for more information to schedule arrangements but haven't heard or seen anything. Can you give more details?
