I don't believe these were mentioned in the View Camera Magazine article, but I'm traveling and can't check for sure.
I found two "Lens Cases" in the fishing department of the Gander Mountain store in Sherman, Texas today. They call them "reel cases." One is described to hold five "reels" and the other to hold nine "reels." The small one is $15 and the large $20. Both seem to be a real bargain. The sides of these cases are stiffer and more sturdy than the Orvis cases I have seen and should provide better protection. Gander Mountain doesn't have a very robust website and it doesn't show many products so you'll have to find a store or try mail order if you're interested.
