Ilex #4 shutter speeds

Can anyone tell me if the shutter speeds on the Ilex #4 shutters are stepped acc ording to the indicated times or are they contiguous. In other words, can I set an approximate shutter speed between the indicated speeds?

No you can't get in-between shutter speeds. It's either 1/100th or 1/50th and ne'er the twain shall meet. Now, whether you actually GET 1/100th at the 1/100th setting is another story.
