Hi everyone,

I'm new around here, have been looking through the boards, and have a question about a project I'm doing. I have a collection of vintage pulp style "Shadow" magazines from the 1930's and am looking to scan them for enlargements. Each of them are about 8x10. All of them are either line art or paintings, no photos.

I'd like to be able to make a nice print of one of the covers at around 40x60 to hang in my office. My scanner will do 6400x3200 dpi. I'm pretty good with photoshop, but this will be the first time I'll be doing a project over 11x17 and was wondering what dpi I should scan at.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

Oh, also, once the magazine is scanned, do you have any reccomendations on where to get it printed? I'd like it to be done on a nice paper stock, to try and replicate the "feel" of the original.
