Timing of Fall Colors in Colorado

Anyone in Colorado have information on the timing of fall color this year?

I am debating coming Sept 22-26 or waiting till Sept 29-Oct 3. I will be in both the Aspen area and also down near Ridgeway and Ouray.

Hi Glen,
I am not in Colorado, but I was in RMNP last year 2nd week of September. The fall color had just barely started in the higher elevations. Judging by last year the last week of September should be prime, depending on how dry or wet its been.

September 22-26 will probably be better but no guarantees. A lot depends on the weather between now and then. For the latest updates on fall color in Colorado I suggest checking Rocky Mountain Nature Photographers (http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/bbs.cgi?a=vf10&u=21089) often.
