Does anyone have a fix on tonal conversions,if there is s specific study on FP4 LF? I've been looking into it and there seems to be the odd one or two books, such as- Way Beyond Monochrome, which I had a browse through the bumpf and didn't really think it was worth the shell out.. If you've an insight into this or something worth the coin on I'd appreciate your input.

Not an answer to your question, but if you don't get anything from this book, then you should be answering questions here, not asking them :-).

There are perhaps more informative analysis's out there-This I felt was not as in-depth in theory as required for specific subject matter as this duly requires!

By your reply it would seem you have ingratiated yourself with this read. ?

Would you like to share your analysis on this with us all :-)

1st )What is tonal conversion and what are contrast tables?

We didn't learn these things in undergrad.

2nd) whats up with all the digs people keep giving on these forums? Is there a "King of the (Silver Nitrate) Hill" competition that I didn't know about?
