Adjusting my 90mm f/5.6 super angulon XL on its recessed lensboard is not easy. My fingers barely fit, and I've touched the lens a couple times. The toy that I've seen to add extenders to the aperture / shutter rings is pretty expensive. What do you all do?

I have thin fingers, but I've seen some people do things like use a pencil to adjust the settings on a lens in a recessed board.
Take up classical guitar. Segovia had really wide fingers.

Bent paper clip works for me for adjusting the aperture.

I do play classical guitar, actually, though I'm a tad inferior to Segovia (and he was probably a better photographer than me as well).
I've taken to adjusting aperture and speed from the bottom of the lens and using a key to cock the shutter and to open and close the lens.

I use the ball point pen that I often forget to use to take exposure notes. I also carry a small pen light in the camera bag so I can see into the "lens cave".
