Well I went and got a woodie. It was twenty years since my last one.

Any general tips on tightening up a Anba/Ikeda/Tachi/Wista variant?

I remember my old Wista had these funky brass cap nuts that worked loose - is there an alternative? Or do you just locktite everything and carry a few spare parts?

Otherwise, anything that is loose, just uncrew, squirt some Titebond on the screw hole -- maybe a toothpick tip if it is stripped -- and reassemble?

You've pretty much got it already. As far as I know, there isn't much you can do except what you mentioned.

Did you get a prescription or buy it from Mexico? The Viagra that is. I'd agree 20 years is a long time.
