I'm going back to the wrecking yard from the Ontario L.F. get-together on September the 23rd. Any one up for the adventure? Hopefully those who couldn't make it to the last one can make it to this one? As it gets closer to the date I will email the directions. If any one needs a lift or has extra room in their vehicle, I will try and co-ordinate it.

How lucky you are. Wrecking yards have always been one of my favorite locations.
However it seems that since 9/11 we are not allowed to photograph in them because of "national security". Talk about over reaction and paranoia!

What is this!? Any descriptions or pix? How far from Toronto? I am in Rochester, NY....

I'll tentatively say that I'm up for it again... You can't miss this if you're in Southern Ontario. It's pretty darn good for thrashed cars, and the thrashed cars go back to the 30's at least. For a sampling you can go to my site's photoblog and see some pics from that. Comments welcome, the location probably outpaces my skill.

Nothing wrong with Urban Exploration unless you think that you've seen it all. In which case there's nothing stopping you from staying home. The cliche thread can be found by using the search feature on the forum.

The yard is a little over an hour north east of Toronto. It a bit of a long driver from Rochester but you are welcome to come along.

I am indeed interested but I have to take a look closer to the time, say late week. I'm loaded with work right now...

Due to the lack of interest I’ve decided to cancel my trip to the wrecking yard. Maybe some other time.
