I just realised this was hidden in another thread - which should at least have been titled "Another one bites the Durst"... !

Ashes to ashes, durst to durst. ;)
Regretable, but not surprising.

Boy, does this news hit home. . .
In June I donated my L1200/501 to a college photo dept. as I have moved and decided not to build another darkroom--a difficult decision. I have, over the years, owned Omega and Beseler and finally had the means to get the best--Durst. How painful it was to part with her.

Well, maybe now I won't have to make any more Sixtotub lensboards. Why couldn't they just have used a flat board like Beseler which I have to say is a far superior product to Dearth,,,er Durst
