Hi.
I just (yesterday) acquired a beautiful, black light weight Improved Seneca View camera yesterday (8x10). Problem is, I don't know where I might locate lensboards for the thing. There also is no sliding holder for lensboards--that is, there are simply two metal plates, one on top and one on the bottom of the front standard, where apparently the lensboards (aprox. 6x6 in.) are supposed to slide into.

Any help would be appreciated.

On some very old cameras, there isn't a sliding clip. Instead, there's a sort of spring hiding inside the top or the bottom retaining bracket, and you mount the lensboard by pressing it in against the spring and then fitting the other end of the board under the opposite retaining bracket. Then the spring pressure holds the board in.

If it takes a 6" board, you might try a 6" Eastman-type board, which is pretty common used and can also be purchased new from suppliers like Richard Ritter (http://www.lg4mat.net/pageparts.html).
