What exactly is a Gralex Graflok roll film holder? I am looking for a roll film holder for my Toyo View 45G. What cameras does a Graflok work on?

A Graflok is a type of back with locking slides to hold accessories and a removable focusing screen. With the screen in, it works just like any spring back -- you slide your film holder or other accessory under the ground glass after focusing and composing, etc. Grafmatics and Polaroid backs will fit under most spring backs, at least in 4x5 cameras.

For roll film holders like the Graflex 22, 23, RH-8, RH-10, etc., however, the shape and size of the adapter makes it impossible to fit under a ground glass; this is the real advantage of the Graflok back. You simply slide back the locks, lift out the ground glass screen (with its springs and a frame that engages the locks), drop in the accessory, and slide the locks into engagement. Most Graflok accessories still maintain film plane specs, so you can focus on the ground glass before removing it and mounting the accessory (and this also includes Grafmatic and Polaroid backs -- they can be used either way).
