Hi
The glasses in the kit for the Versalab have broken and I need a replacement.

Do I need to replace them with the genuine ones provided by Versalab or I can find another solution?

Thanks
Mario

I assume you mean the very thin slides

Look for microscope slides

I've used Gepe 35mm glass slide mounts. But any piece of glass that fits in your enlarger should work. I think that any commercially made glass sheet should be flat enough for the purpose.
But who knows? Perhaps Versalab is still in business and can supply those parts.

I use microscope slides.

You can judge the flatness of a piece of glass by looking at an oblique reflection.

I often use a non-coated filter screwed onto the lens, using a piece of opaque tape on the lens side.

Peter's approach is excellent. It circumvents the hassle of having to use the small rubber bands with which one holds the (microscope slide) glass in place. These rubber bands will disintegrate/brake with time, and they are hard to find/replace.
