Hi all!
This is a FAQ, but I couldn't get sure enough from what I found in old threads and in the shutter page in the static LFinfo etc.
I just bought a couple of old Sinar flight-boxes, in which one item is a huge 480 Apo-Ronar mounted in an equally huge Compound #5 shutter. I tried the shutter which seems to be fairly accurate. I've saused out how to (and how not to) use the B and T settings, i.e. don't cock the shutter when on B or T.
But I don't want to ruin this thing. So in which order should I do things, cock the shutter first and then set the time? Or should it be vice versa? Any other tips that will come in handy for me and others in my present situation are appreciated.
(Yes, I know that this isn't the first lens of choice for 4X5 or even 5X7, but it had a pricetag of about $100 to it, so I couldn't resist it.)
